Statement

As training physicians, we are taught to recognize the interplay between patient health and the environment. As scientists, we are trained to innovate to address problems. Polycarbin was born out of more than 20 years of cumulative laboratory experience in which my colleagues and I saw the environmental impact of biomedical plastic waste. Today, we are taking on the task of transforming laboratory waste management with our innovative waste diversion system. I am excited to be a part of the team at Polycarbin advocating for the health of the planet to keep billions of pounds of plastic Out of our Air, Out of our Oceans, and Out of our Ground.
