Statement

My interest in community service brought me to a career in medicine, but my passion for sustainability has inspired me to pursue a concomitant career promoting environmentally responsible research practices.

Polycarbin was born of my six years of laboratory research experience where I quickly discovered the research industry’s troubling dependency on single-use plastic. My hope is that by partnering with a community of researchers and physicians, we can decrease the carbon footprint of innovation and the environmental cost of healthcare.
